ACOS6 SAM Card

ACOS6 SAM - Ideal Solution for Security EnhancementThe ACOS6 Secure Access Module (SAM) is designed as a general cryptogram computation module or as a security authentication module for ACOS contact client cards— ACOS3 and ACOS6, and common contactless client cards—DESFire, DESFire EV1 and Ultralight-C.

The ACOS6 SAM card securely stores cryptographic keys and uses these keys to compute cryptograms for other applications or smart cards. Using this, terminals need not know the master key(s) of an application, whereas the keys never leave the ACOS6 SAM.The ACOS6 SAM card can perform:
Mutual Authentication to guarantee the authenticity of the terminal and the client card

Navigation Sensor & Range Finder module

This module is a sub system for navigation is very practical when used in robotics applications. Equipped with 8 ports for sonar proximity sensor and eight ports for infrared distance sensor system can detect the distance of the 8 directions of the wind with two methods of ultrasonic and infrared. Ultrasonic method is used to detect accurately the distance to the object of a mirror that would interfere with the infrared method accuracy. While the infrared method is used to detect the distance to the object which the annoying squiggly accuracy ultrasonic method. The combination of these two methods will obtain a more accurate distance calculation.

By using Compass Devantech CMPS09 or CMPS10, the module can detect the 8 directions of the compass, the magnetic field strength, 3 axis acceleration and also can save the route of the robot direction, slope and duration. This enables the robot to track back toward home.

Darwin-OP Humanoid Research Robot - Deluxe Edition

DARwIn-OP (Dynamic Anthropomorphic Robot with Intelligence - Open Platform) is an affordable, miniature-humanoid-robot platform with advance computational power, sophisticated sensors, high payload capacity, and dynamic motion ability to enable many exciting research, education, and outreach activities. SS-168 IONIZATION SMOKE ALARM

The Garvan SS-168 Smoke Alarm is an ionization 9V DC smoke alarm. It is operated by a 9V battery (6LR61 or 6F22), battery life 1 year minimum. With the ionization technology, SS-168 will normally respond faster to fast flaming fires which spread rapidly and general considerable heat with little smoke.
The SS-168 has an 85 decibel horn, test button, alarm LED indicator.

SS-168 should be installed in every room (except the bathroom), and every other area of the home, making sure the people in the home will be able to hear and respond to the alarm sound. For minimum protection you should fit an alarm in the hallway between the living areas (incl. Kitchens)and sleeping areas. Place it as near to the living areas as possible and ensure the alarm is audible when the bedrooms are occupied.
Once the smoke alarm has been installed a small indicator light (LED), positioned under the test button, should flash approximately once a minute in normal operation. If smoke is detected the unit will emit a load pulsating alarm until the air is clear.
