OpenCR is a microcontroller module developed for Robot Operating System (ROS) Embedded System to deliver hardware and software that is open source.
OpenCR relies on STM32F7 as its main processor. STM32F7 is a 32-bit microcontroller with ARM Cortex-M7 architecture and a maximum clockspeed of 216 MHz that has outstanding performance, OpenCR also has direct support with Arduino IDE so users familiar with Arduino can easily adapt to this module.
Similar to other microcontrollers, OpenCR provides analog and digital pins that you can enable to access I / O devices such as sensors, motors, input components, etc. Communication interface provided in the form of USB, UART, SPI, I2C, and CAN.
In addition iu also available on-board IMU 9-axis sensor (MPU-9250) which consists of gyrosocope, accelerometer, and compass that you can use for project development purposes.
