Thermopile Array Sensor

Thermopile Array Sensor is an intelligent system of sensors that can measure the temperature of an object without direct contact with the object to be measured. Measurements based on the intensity of infrared radiation from the object to be measured. This system consists of a thermal sensor array and the main module for microcontroller-based retrieval and data processing. The output of this system in the form of digital data that shows the value of temperature in units of °C that can be accessed via a TTL UART interface and I ² C. Example applications of this system is to detect a candle flame, measure the temperature of the bulb, stove, solder, or other objects in the non-contact.

Specifications:
- Able to measure the temperature of an object with a measuring range of 0 ° C - 100 ° C.
- Operates at room temperature 0 ° C - 60 ° C.
- The sensor does not need direct contact with the object to be measured.
- Accuracy thermopile sensor array ± 2 ° C.
- Output in the form of digital data that has shown the value of temperature in units of ° C.
- Visibility thermopile sensor 41 ° x 6 ° (per 8 pixels).
- There are eight channel thermopile sensor and a thermistor to measure temperature of the room.
- Able to detect a candle flame or heat 15W bulb in the room-temperature 20 ° C at a maximum distance of 200 cm from the eye sensors.
- Requires power supply 4.8 V - 5.4 V DC or 9V - 12V DC (with on-board regulator).
- Equipped with a power indicator and voltage polarity protection.
- Line Input / Output compatible with TTL and CMOS voltage levels.
- Equipped with a TTL UART interface (38400bps) and I ² C (bit rates up to 100 kHz).
- There are two connectors for standard servo motors that can be used for the process of regional expansion autoscan and sensor readings.
- Can be cascaded up to eight modules in one line I ² C.
- Terminals for SCL and SDA lines will facilitate the process of cascade modules are I ² C.
- Sensor module separate from the main module so that the placement of sensors can be more flexible.
- There are examples of programs using the CodeVisionAVR.
