MB7380 HRXL-MaxSonar®-WRT™ High Performance Ultrasonic Rangefinder

The weather resistant HRXL-MaxSonar-WRT is a rugged ultrasonic sensor component module. This outdoor sensor provides very short to long distance detection and ranging in a compact, robust PVC housing. The ultrasonic sensor meets the IP67 water intrusion standard and matches standard electrical 3/4‑inch PVC pipe fittings.

High output acoustic power combined with continuously variable gain, real‑time background automatic calibration, real‑time waveform signature analysis, and noise rejection algorithms results in virtually noise free distance readings. This holds true even in the presence of many of the various acoustic or electrical noise sources. The HRXL‑MaxSonar‑WRsensors are factory calibrated to match narrow sensor beam patterns and provide reliable long range detection zones.


The F-Option design modification provides our weather resistant sensors with extra protection against corrosive chemical environments. Ask for the F-Option when ordering.

WIPI WLAN module for Raspberry PI


Wi-Pi is a high performance, cost effective WLAN USB module which connects the Raspberry Pi low cost computer, to a Wi-Fi local area network. Wi-Pi uses the latest 802.11n Wireless Technology, and can support data rates of up to 150 Mbps, compared with older 54 Mbps 11g products. It also benefits from a higher wireless LAN bandwidth, making data transmission more efficient. Wi-Pi also supports wireless roaming, ensuring a more consistent wireless connection to a wireless access point. Wi-Pi uses the latest international wireless CCA air channel detection technology, enhancing wireless performance.

Currently WI -PI can only be used with Debian 6.0 or higher version of operating system. If you are running Debian based Raspbian “Wheezy” operating system already has Wi-Pi’s drivers’ built in, so the process of downloading the driver and installing it is not necessary. However, there are few things need to be done before you can get Wi-Pi running on your Raspberry Pi (please refer to the user manual for WI-PI installation instruction for Raspbian).

ISO 4-20mA Current Loop Isolation Interface IC provides signal receive and transmittal on a single chip. The ceramic hermetic hybrid package contains an electromagnetic coupled converter and current modulate. The very low input equivalent impendence allows the input voltage can be up to an ultra-wide range (7.5V~32V), so that it is able to meet the requirements for no distortion in long-distance signal transmission under the circumstance of no outside connecting power. Hamamatsu C10423 UVTRON Drive Circuit

Hamamatsu C10423 UVTRON Drive Circuit. This drive circuit is made to drive a Hamamatsu R9454 Flame Detector. The driver circuit uses little energy (~4 mA typically) and contains all the necessary high voltage electronics, drive circuitry, noise canceling, and signal processing needed when using the detector.

A flame sensor is recommended to be interfaced with the driver circuit.
