RN-XV WiFly Module - Wire Antenna

The RN-XV module by Roving Networks is a certified Wi-Fi solution especially designed for customer who want to migrate their existing 802.15.4 architecture to a standard TCP/IP based platform without having to redesign their existing hardware. In other words, if your project is set up for XBee and you want to move it to a standard WiFi network, you can drop this in the same socket without any other new hardware.

The RN-XV module is based upon Roving Networks' robust RN-171 Wi-Fi module and incorporates 802.11 b/g radio, 32 bit processor, TCP/IP stack, real-time clock, crypto accelerator, power management unit and analog sensor interface. The module is pre-loaded with Roving firmware to simplify integration and minimize development time of your application. In the simplest configuration, the hardware only requires four connections (PWR, TX, RX and GND) to create a wireless data connection.

Features:
  • Based on common 802.15.4 XBee footprint
  • Ultra low power: 4uA sleep mode, 38mA active
  • Onboard TCP/IP stack includes DHCP, UDP, DNS, ARP, ICMP, HTTP client, FTP client and TCP
  • Firmware configurable transmit power: 0dBm to 12dBm
  • Hardware interfaces:TTL UART
  • Host data rate up to 464Kbps over UART
  • Supports Adhoc and infrastructure networking
  • 8 general purpose digital I/O
  • 3 analog sensor inputs
  • Real-time clock for time-stamping, auto-sleep, and auto-wakeup modes
  • Accepts 3.3VDC regulated power supply
  • Wire antenna

Nextion NX8048T050 - 5" LCD TFT HMI Intelligent Touch Display

Nextion 5.0'' HMI Arduino TFT Lcd Intelligent Display Module Screen with integrated 4-wire Resistive Touch Panel 800x480 NX8048T050
Package include: a Nextion 5.0'' display, a wire, a power supply test board
Note: there's a small power supply test board and a wire for you to test if the electricity supply is enough or not. Please see below image how to use it.

Nextion is a Seamless Human Machine Interface (HMI) solution that provides a control and visualisation interface between a human and a process, machine, application or appliance. It is the best solution to replace the traditional LCD and LED Nixie tube.
This solution includes hardware part - a series of TFT boards and software part - Nextion editor. Nextion TFT board uses only one serial port to do communicating. Let you get rid of the wiring trouble. We notice that most engineers spend much time in application development but get unpleasant results. In this situation, Nextion editor has mass components such as button, text, progress bar, slider, instrument panel etc. to enrich your interface design. And the drag-and-drop function ensures that you spend less time in programming, which will reduce your 99% development workloads. With the help of this WYSIWYG editor, GUI designing is a piece of cake.
It's easy to adapt Nextion family HMI to existing projects, you just need to provide it a UART.
NX8048T050 is a powerful 5.0'' HMI, which is member of Nextion family. Features include: a 5.0" TFT 800x480 resistive touch screen display, 16M Flash, 2KByte RAM, 65k colors.

BITalino Power Block

Biosignal acquisition sensors often require a midpoint voltage (VCC/2) for bipolar differential measurement. Also, two common problems affecting measurements when working with biosignals are the voltage drop associated with the normal battery discharge, and power supply fluctuations introduced by peripherals with high peak currents (e.g. Bluetooth module). Our PWR block was especially designed to address these issues, having biomedical applications in mind. It has two regulated VCC=3.3V outputs, which can be used to independently power the analog and digital parts of an acquisition circuit, and also one regulated VCC/2=1.65V output that can be used to provide the midpoint voltage for bipolar biosignal sensors when required.

Any 3.7V LiPo battery can be used with this block. For greater convenience it includes an on-board LiPo charger with a charging status indicator and a standard micro USB charging port (only used for charging). The charger is only active when the switch is in the OFF position

SPECIFICATIONS
  • Voltage Input: 3.7V LiPo
  • Voltage Output: 3.3V (2x) + 1.65V (1x)
FEATURES
  • Two regulated VCC=3.3V outputs
  • One regulated VCC/2=1.65V output
  • On-board LiPo charger
  • Standard micro USB charging plug
  • Battery charging status indicator
  • Battery voltage level monitoring pin
  • Plug & play operation
APPLICATIONS
  • Rapid prototyping of custom hardware
  • Biomedical engineering projects

SparkFun USB LiPoly Charger

If you need to charge LiPo batteries, this simple charger will do just that, and do it fast! The SparkFun USB LiPo Charger is a basic charging circuit that allows you to charge 3.7V LiPo cells at a rate of 500mA or 100mA. It is designed to charge single-cell Li-Ion or Li-Polymer batteries.

The board incorporates a charging circuit, status LED, selectable solder jumper for 500mA or 100mA charging current, external LED footprint, USB input, two pre-installed JST connectors for SYS OUT and BATT IN, and (back by popular demand) a barrel jack connector.

There is also a ‘SYS OUT’ with a pre-installed JST connector which allows you to connect the charging circuit directly to your project so you don’t need to disconnect the charger each time you want to use it.
